Ordered a Microsoft Surface Book bundle. I was given the on-line FedEx delivery schedule and much to my surprise nothing was shipped on-time. In face, one day before it was to be delivered, it hadn't shipped from their warehouse. Ordered a laptop on a Monday, shipping stated 3-7 business days via Fedex. The Microsoft Store failed to mention that it would take them 4 days to even begin shipping the laptop. Fedex estimates it will arrive in 9 business days. Why does it take Microsoft 4 days (not including Monday) to box and ship an item? Ebay sellers are more reliable than that. Bought a Dell laptop on Dec 30, was finally delivered on Jan 11. I work 3 weeks at a time on the North Slope in Alaska so wasn't able to do a full rundown on computer till I got home. Computer was extremely slow to boot up and I usually have to boot it at least twice in order for the modem to recognize my wifi. There is some type of obvious scam going on here. My credit card statement had a charge for $2,960 on it and the merchant stated Microsoft Store. When I called the 877-696-7786 number, they had no record of my order. Are you kidding me? I even gave them my credit card number over the phone and they couldn't locate this order???? The return policy is only 30 days. And they definitely do not take any return or exchange right after 30 days. When I called, the customer service people just blame me not to call them within 30 days. I ordered for Christmas, so I ordered two weeks before Christmas, and Christmas we traveled out. I tried to buy some music from the online store and it doesn't have any option for a Canadian address, only U.S. After 25 minutes and 5 technical support people who clearly don't know what they're doing, I gave up. Worst online experience.. tried to purchase the Complete warranty with my Surface Pro 4 and accessories, unable to, started chat session, she couldn't figure it out as well, tells me I can purchase within 45 days, just call in. ABSOLUTELY NO respect for your time or money! If you have plenty of both to waste, order with Microsoft Online Store: Incompetent, Unwilling to help and Irresponsible are the nicest way to describe them! This is a follow up on a previous review written 1 day ago about the the computer I purchased on the 1st day of their Cristmas sale for the HP 13x360.So on to the lastest update on that story.
